Since beginning my personal practice in 2006, I
have become a devotee of the mat. Over and over again, I return to yoga in
search of release, strength, and peace. I am awed, over and over again, at this
ancient practice's audacity and transformative ability. Whether I am practicing
or teaching, I have never experienced such growth and presence, both within
myself and in my students. If I could, I would practice and share yoga every
day for the rest of my life. I'm not there yet, but this life is a long one!
After four years of practice, I received my 200
hour Vinyasa Flow teaching certification in 2011 with CorePower Yoga in
Sherman Oaks, California. I have been teaching in California, Buenos Aires, and
Australia since then, taking on various classes, courses, and workshops. I have
experience teaching preschool aged students through adult practitioners, and as
a bilingual Spanish speaker, have been able to translate my classes to reach
wider audiences.
I currently teach free classes at lululemon
Mosman Village in Sydney, Australia, as well as studio classes at Yoga Sivana
(Sydney). Please refer to "Upcoming Events" to view more!
My hope is that this learning never ceases. The
more I give to each student, the more my own practice evolves, and vice a
versa. For me, yoga is more than just a series of movements that make a person
sweat. Yoga is an essential tool in finding inner strength, meditative
reasoning, and openness. Without such gifts, I believe humankind to suffer
greatly. Yoga is a path towards greatness in all senses of the word; for it
brings success, but also humble acceptance.
Sharing this with the world is a beautiful thing...and
I'm a lucky little yogi to be able to do so!
~Namaste~
